Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Boats N Beds, we value your trust and strive to offer a smooth and memorable houseboat experience. We understand that travel plans can change, so we’ve created a transparent cancellation and refund policy to guide our guests through such situations.


1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Cancellation by Guest

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more before the scheduled departure date:
    A full refund will be provided, after deducting an administrative fee of ₹1500.

  • Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before the departure:
    50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled departure:
    No refund will be issued.

1.2 No-Show Policy

If the guest fails to arrive on the scheduled date without any prior notice, the booking will be marked as a no-show, and no refund will be provided.


2. Refund Policy

2.1 Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be initiated within 7–10 business days from the date of receiving a valid cancellation request.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (e.g., bank account, UPI, Razorpay, etc.).

  • For credit/debit card payments, the actual credit may take a few additional days depending on your bank’s processing time.

2.2 Partial Refunds

If a trip is shortened or cut short after the commencement of the houseboat journey due to personal reasons, no partial refund will be provided for the unused portion.


3. Booking Changes

3.1 Rescheduling

  • Guests may request to reschedule their trip up to 14 days before the scheduled check-in date, subject to availability.

  • New rates may be applicable depending on revised dates.

3.2 Itinerary Changes

  • Any changes in the itinerary (change in route, check-in time, number of guests, etc.) are subject to availability.

  • Additional charges may apply based on the nature of the change.


4. Cancellation by Boats N Beds

4.1 Due to Weather or Unforeseen Circumstances

In the rare event of cancellations due to adverse weather, government orders, strikes, or other force majeure conditions, Boats N Beds will offer guests the following options:

  • A full refund, OR

  • A free rescheduling to a mutually convenient date.

4.2 Due to Operational Issues

If a booking must be cancelled due to technical, maintenance, or operational reasons (e.g., houseboat mechanical failure), we will:

  • Offer a 100% refund, OR

  • Provide an option to reschedule without extra charges.
